This story follows a cast of woodland creatures in the neighborhood of Shady Hollow as they deal with the fallout of a sudden murder in their midst. Vera Vixen, a reporter for the local paper takes matters into her own paws, investigating the crime in a bid to catch the killer before tragedy strikes again. This is a nice cozy mystery that adults who grew up loving “The Wind in the Willows” by Kenneth Grahame or “The RedWall” series by Brian Jacques may enjoy.
