Programming Professional
The James V. Brown Library is seeking an imaginative, passionate, and innovative Programming Professional to join our team. The candidate should possess a positive attitude, and a desire to work with and create programming for people of all ages and abilities. This position requires an individual to work independently and as part of a team.
This is a full-time position (37.5 hours/week) with expectations to work some nights and Saturdays when scheduled programs occur. Experience in working with the public is preferred. Public Service Assistant II
The James V. Brown Library seeks a customer-oriented, energetic, and technology-savvy full-time Public Service Assistant II (PSA) to join our team. This position serves as the front line of customer service at the Library and provides warm, friendly, efficient, and effective support to Library users. The successful candidate will be able to excel in a fast-paced environment and multi-task. Must train and certify as a U.S. Passport Acceptance Agent. This is a full-time position scheduled for 37.5 hours per week with a wage of $14-$16/hour, plus benefits. The weekly schedule for this position is as follows:
Mondays, 9am – 5pm
Tuesdays, 11am-7pm
Wednesday, 9am-5pm
Thursdays, Off
Fridays, 10am-6pm
Saturdays, 8:30am-4:00pm
Sundays, Off
