This book is part of the Memory Man series but you don’t have to read the other books to know what is going on in this one. Amos Decker, FBI special task force, takes interest in the story of Melvin Mars who was sentenced to death row. Mars is released at the last possible moment when someone else confesses to the crime that he was wrongfully accused of. But why would someone confess after 20 years? Amos and team dig deeper and deeper into what happened 20 years ago and what is happening now. This book is a tangled web of clues. Great read.
