In the “Long Shadows,” Baldacci takes you on a journey of twists and turns as you continue to follow the story of Amos Decker. This time Amos is sent to Florida to look into the homicide of a federal judge. Instead of what appears to be a double homicide at the judge’s home, you find out that it is actually two separate cases. In this book Amos is paired with a new FBI agent, Frederica White. If you have read any of the “Memory Man” series you know that Amos does not react well to change. This book is full of changes. It’s a good read. I read this on a round-trip plane ride.
