Library continues Growers Market Outreach

WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. – The James V. Brown Library, 19 E. Fourth St., will continue its popular Growers Market Outreach storytime on the last Saturday of each month, starting May 25 and continuing through September.

During the event, an outreach vehicle will accompany a library programmer, who will have storytimes, games and other fun activities for children from 9:30-11:30 a.m. 

The schedule is:

  • May 25 – Jacquie & Leslie with Book’s Bus
  • June 29 – Robin & Leslie with Book’s Bus
  • July 27 – Nicole& Andrew with Bookmoblie
  • Aug 31- Jacquie & Andrew with Bookmobile
  • Sept 28 – Robin & Leslie with Book’s Bus

This program is one of the many ways Pennsylvania Public Libraries support the PA Forward Initiative by providing basic and social literacy opportunities for learning.


The James V. Brown Library is open from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Thursday; 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Friday; and 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday. Walk-in passport services are available from 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Friday, and 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Saturday.
