This is an addicting thriller about a missing girl in a safe, affluent neighborhood. When neighbors start poking around to find out who took the missing 9-year-old, the parents realize that everyone in the neighborhood is harboring secrets. The father is having an affair. A neighbor has a son with questionable motives. But in the end, it’s a twist you won’t see coming. I will add that there are trigger warnings for infidelity and child abuse, but there is no graphic detail. This book would make an excellent movie.
