WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. – The James V. Brown Library, 19 E. Fourth St., is continuing its popular teen book club.

The Teen Laid-Back Book Club, similar to the Library’s adult Laid-Back Book Club, is open to readers ages 11-18.

This program was suggested by the library’s Teen Advisory Group, which saw the need for book clubs for younger audiences. The club is designed to be low-pressure, interactive, and fun.

In this program, participants will share about one book they’ve enjoyed and learn about new titles from others.

Teen Laid-back Book Club will take place from 4:30-5:30 p.m. in the Teen computer area on the second floor of the Welch Children’s Wing on the following dates:

  • April 9
  • May 14

Registration is required at https://jvbrown.libcal.com/event/13519656 or by calling the library at 570-326-0536. A complete listing of all library programs is available at calendar.jvbrown.edu.

This program supports the PA Forward state initiative by providing social and civic literacy opportunities for learning and highlighting the transformative nature of public libraries within a community.
