Rhythm of War (Book Four of The Stormlight Archive)

Rhythm of War (Book Four of The Stormlight Archive) by Brandon Sanderson

After finishing Book 4 of the The Stormlight Archive, I am once again left wanting more of this story. Fortunately, Brandon (we are still on a first name basis) is writing the 5th book as we speak/type. Book 4 of this series answered a lot of questions that I had while reading books 1-3. Although the one character named Shallon started to get on my nerves throughout most of the book, she eventually came around to be a favorite of mine towards the end. The tension builds in this book to the point where it was hard to put it down. Then, just when you think the humans have seized the day, the story ends in a jaw dropping twist of a cliffhanger. I can’t say anymore or I’ll spoil it. Again, I recommend this book series to anyone who loves fantasy and is willing to invest a lot of time & emotion into these amazing characters throughout the world of Roshar. For me, they feel a bit like family after diving into the books over the last few months.
