Fallon is an 18-year-old aspiring actress about to move from LA to New York City when she meets Ben in a diner. They quickly have feelings for each other but decide that they should not pursue a long-distance relationship and instead agree to meet back at the same booth in the same diner on the same date the following year. They do not communicate at all during the year. Ben is an aspiring writer and realizes this is great fodder for a story. There is a twist about who Ben really is in relation to Fallon’s family, that was a bit predictable and unnecessary. From there, the drama picks up, with Ben’s past affecting Fallon’s future. A good read for CoHo fans.
