I became a serious fan of Andy Weir’s work after reading his debut novel The Martian. He has an amazing way of making the most esoteric details about space travel approachable and engaging, all while telling a gripping story. I appreciated The Martian so much, I doubted he could write anything I would love more. Then I read Project Hail Mary. I found it to be stunning, terrifying, touching, and impossible to put down – it is both stark reality and fantastic fiction. I highly recommend this book!
