Schur, the creator of the “Good Place” and co-creator of “Parks and Recreation,” starts off with easy ethical questions that he pondered while writing the “Good Place” and examines many philosophies as a layperson in order to find the book’s subtitle, “the correct answer to every moral question.” This book explains concepts like deontology, utilitarianism, existentialism, contractualism, ubuntu, and more so the reader has a better understanding of how to be “good” in a world that isn’t black and white. A fun, engaging read.
