Persepolis Rising (Book 7 of the Expanse Series) by James S.A. Corey

What can I say? This book was so good I read it every moment I had available to read. This book expands past the Amazon television series. A huge plot twist happens in Book 7, which is 30 years past Book 6. James Holden and the crew of the Rocinante are in their late 50’s, working for the Transport Union and ships travel and navigate through the gates, to help supplies get to terraformed planets. The Laconia Gate, which had been closed for over 30 years, opened back up with state-of-the-art alien tech (I can’t say more than that because of spoilers). From that point on the story morphed into a cliffhanger, chapter to chapter. I really had a hard time putting it down and read into the wee hours of the night. If you’re a sci-fi reader and lover of all things alien and outer space this book series is for you. Especially if you make it through to Book 7. I’ve moved onto Book 8 and I’m almost done! Stay tuned for my next Staff Pick … this one is even better than the last!
