I am so glad I moved on to the 3rd book in this series. This book sums up most of the TV series. James Holden and his crew move on from the OPA and do odd jobs here and there, until they’re ordered to go to the Rings or give up their stolen Martian Ship back to the Martian Marines. This book also covers and fills in some blanks about Clarissa Mao (AKA Melba). She was on a mission to destroy James Holden’s reputation and eventually kill him. With a twist of events mid-way through, catastrophe changes everyone’s plans about the Rings, and what they are there for. No spoilers here on what happens. I recommend this read to fans of The Expanse series and sci-fi enthusiasts. I am now moving on to book 4, Cibola Burn, which moves past the TV series. I look forward to the new adventures from here on out.
