Again, this book was very hard to put down. I also found myself thinking about the story when I was not reading it. At this point, I felt like the characters were my family. I even liked and felt sorry for the antagonist. Each chapter is a cliffhanger. The writers of this series are really good at keeping the reader guessing. All the way up to the very last page of Leviathan Falls there is a sense that something more could happen. I am actually sad that the television series was canceled because I can see the last 3 books being amazing on screen. This book tidies up loose ends from the last book and an important character, Colonel Tanaka, is introduced. The high action and detailed descriptions of this story swim in my head like a movie. There is not much more to say without spoiling key details. Stick it out to Book 9 if you decide to read this series. You will not regret it.
