Oh, how I love a good horror novel. Louise’s parents died in a car crash and she is forced to leave her young daughter with her ex to deal with her estranged brother and their childhood home full of puppets and stuff. Louise and her brother Mark fight over the home’s contents, the will and anything else they can until they realize there is something far more sinister going on in the home. Something from their past that is trying to take hold of them, which makes selling the house a bit more challenging. This is a classic haunted house trope with some extra gore for true horror fans.
