VHS to DVD Converting

The Library’s home movie conversion service has expanded! Home movies on VHS tapes, VHS-C tapes, Hi8 tapes, and DVDs can be converted and loaded onto either a USB drive or a DVD.

The cost for this service is $15 to convert each tape or disc, plus $1 per DVD disc and/or $10 for a USB drive.

This service is intended for home movies. The Library cannot accept copyrighted material for conversion, such as studio-produced movies, recordings from television, or tapes of events that were professionally produced. Though damage to your media is unlikely, the Library does not assume responsibility for any damage that may occur.

To use this service, fill out the online form below and bring it with your tapes to the Help Desk for processing. Your personal items never leave the Library.
