Library wraps up Summer Learning with Finale

WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. – The James V. Brown Library, 19 E. Fourth St., will wrap up its Summer Learning Program with Book Bingo on Saturday, August 9th.

 

There will be two sessions held. The first will be held from 10:30 am to 11:30 am and will be for children and families. The second session is for individuals ages 13 and older and will take place from 11:30 am to 12:30 pm. In both programs, each participant will win a book.

 

Summer Learning Prize winners will be announced at each age-appropriate event.

 

“Our finale is all about keeping the love of reading alive all year long,” said Nicole Rader, Programming & Youth Services Director at the James V. Brown Library. “This Book Bingo event is about more than winning – we hope to foster a lifelong love of learning and curiosity.”

The James V. Brown Library is open from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Thursday; 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Friday; and 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday.
