Jacy and her new husband, Jed, take a road trip to meet Jed’s father in remote UP of Michigan. While there, the house manager Mrs. Brandt takes an overwhelming interest in Jacy and her pregnancy. After a health scare, Jacy becomes confined to the house, and feels trapped and under watch. Is it paranoia, the pregnancy hormones or is something more sinister taking place? This was a fun read with a very surprising twist at the end.
