This book sums up where the show stopped. Of course, the book is better than the show, but it’s a close comparison. I understand a lot more from the show after reading book 6 of the series. I also feel like I’m part of the family of the Rocinante. The ship has become one of the characters in the book at this point. The crew has become so close knit that I feel the camaraderie as I read. If you’re interested in this book series, Book 6 is worth the wait. If you’ve already watched the show but still want to read it, I highly recommend it! I have already moved on to Book 7, The Frontiers Saga.
