Library offers free rides on the Hiawatha

WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. – The James V. Brown Library, 19 E. Fourth St., will again offer free rides on the Hiawatha, 2205 Hiawatha Blvd., as part of the Summer Learning Program.

 

Four one-hour sessions will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 21. Guests will enjoy a 45-minute cruise with a 15-minute turnaround. An ice cream bar will be provided for all to enjoy. Guests are asked to choose only one time slot and register all members of their party.

 

During the ride, the Library will provide an activity on the second floor of the boat.

The James V. Brown Library is open from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Thursday; 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Friday; and 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday.
