Is it too cold outside to play? Do your young children have a case of cabin fever? Then bring them to the James V. Brown Library, 19 E. Fourth St., on the second Thursday of each month for a “tots night out” Jammie Jam dance party.

Children from birth to age 7 can come dressed in their jammies and wiggle away some of the winter blues while they dance to live music performed by Williamsport Area High School music students.

Jammie Jam dance party will be held from 6:15 to 7:15 p.m. on  April 13 in the first-floor children’s programming rooms in the library.

The Brown Library is part of a national effort to increase awareness of the changing role of libraries and the ways in which libraries are transforming to meet the information needs of their users. Offering fun activities for social engagement and opportunities for children to be more active are just some of the ways in which the library meets the needs of our youngest patrons and their families.
