The old Nana Reja finds a baby under a bridge, disfigured and covered with bees, and the Morales adopt his as their own. As he grows, it becomes clear that he has the ability to see or sense the future. Simonopio’s purpose in the town and the family and the conflict between good and evil is the core of this story.
