David Sedaris reading the audiobook of his own work is always a treat to be savored. Here he has collected what he judges to be some of his best work from the past, as well as some new essays. Most are very funny, with those dealing with his mother’s alcoholism, his sister’s suicide, and his father’s aging both moving and true. Sedaris is a treasure as a humorist and observer of modern life. The audiobook contains an interview with the author which is well worth your time, too.
