This is the latest decluttering guide from Rubin, best known for her best-selling book, “The Happiness Project.” While her ideas are solid, if you’ve read one decluttering book, you’ve read them all. For me there were no new ideas presented, but an affirmation of what I already do. There are dozens of tricks and tips to create order in your home, such as never labeling anything “miscellaneous,” reducing duplicates, and keeping items within reach to help get rid of things we don’t use, don’t need, or don’t love, to free our minds (and our shelves) for what we truly value.
