This was an interesting memoir about a psychotherapist who shares stories from her patients – and herself. Life seems to be going well for Gottlieb, who has a successful practice, a young son and thinks she is going to marry the love of her life. And then, bam, her boyfriend dumps her and life gets a little messy.

So, she begins to see Wendell, her psychotherapist, to sort through the issues. Along the way she shares snippets of her patients’ lives, how she helps them work through those troubles, and how they impact her. I was excited to hear that it is being developed as a television show because these characters deserve to be on screen.
