What motivates millennials – those born between 1980-1996 – and causes them to take action and change the culture? These questions and more will be answered during the upcoming program, “Mastering Millennials,” with presenter Jason Seyler.

Seyler will present the program at 6 p.m. on Monday, January 23, at the James V. Brown Library, 19 E. Fourth St. His talk is geared toward corporations and businesses who are trying to build brand loyalty and win the business of Millennials who cannot be overlooked because they have the combined spending power of over $500 billion dollars a year. It is also geared towards bosses who are trying to coordinate their places of business between three distinct generations (the Baby Boomers, Generation X and the Millennials). Seyler also will discuss hiring and retaining Millennial talent.

Seyler has successfully developed and built a corporate team with Millennials over the last 10 years. He has sold over $100 million in products to Millennials in the last five years, and has coached and developed thousands of Millennials in the past few years of his career. He brings a broad-ranging expertise in the development and management of business, client development, human development, systems, and sales channels, as well as an uncommon drive for success to all companies he works with. He is the author of the book, “Mastering Millennials: Understanding What Motivates Them and Causes Them to Take Action.”

This program supports the PA Forward state initiative by providing social and civic literacy opportunities for learning and highlighting the transformative nature of public libraries within a community. The Brown Library is part of a national “Libraries Transform” effort to increase awareness of the changing role of libraries and the ways in which libraries are transforming to meet the information needs of their users.

The program will be presented in the Lowry Room on the third floor of the Welch Children’s Wing. Registration is suggested, but not required. Visit calendar.jvbrown.edu to register or call 570-326-0536.
