The James V. Brown Library, 19 E. Fourth St., is the recipient of a grant from the First Community Foundation Partnership of Pennsylvania, which was announced June 20 during an awards ceremony.
The Library received a $750 grant from the Plunketts Creek Township Foundation Fund at the First Community Foundation Partnership of Pennsylvania. The funds will support the Link satellite library located in the former Barbours Schoolhouse. The funds will enhance the Barbours Link children and youth books and adult and juvenile DVD collection with a greater assortment of updated and relevant titles.

The Brown Library is part of a national “Libraries Transform” effort to increase awareness of the changing role of libraries and the ways in which libraries are transforming to meet the information needs of their users.
