I was really worried about starting this book. Peter S. Beagle is one of my favorite authors and a new book after such a long period of quiet was alarming. What if it didn’t live up to my hopes? What if he has lost his touch?
I should have known better. Ten pages in and I was hooked. It is a beautifully written book, as usual. It quietly pulls all sorts of emotions out of me and I am not even finished with it yet!
