I had been waiting to read Weiner’s first nonfiction book, which featured essays about her life, her family and her career before she became a full-time writer. Weiner was a reporter for the Centre Daily Times and lived in Bellefonte, Pa., before her writing career took off and her observations of small-town life were spot-on. This is a great book for fans of Weiner’s work and includes chapters about her time at Princeton, her tweets, her obsession with “The Bachelor” and her ongoing work to have more contemporary women writers treated fairly by major news publications and her feud with Jonathan Franzen.
