High Wizardry is the third book in the series, and is an absolutely fascinating addition to the series. Where the first two books were, strictly speaking, all happening at home, on earth, this one reaches out to the stars, and introduces some truly fascinating world building. Covering themes like sibling jealousy, the troubles of coming into your own as a teen or pre-teen, and handling others that aren’t exactly like you (though perhaps in a more extreme fashion, with aliens and all), it really lends itself to a fascinating journey. It also does a fantastic job of introducing some of the other Powers That Be, and not just the Lone Power. While not my favorite book in the series, this one lends itself to some fantastic buildup for future novels, and is an absolute must read.
