The James V. Brown Library, 19 E. Fourth St., recently received the gift of an outdoor shed from Williamsport Area High School.

Students Nickolas Phyfe, Class of ’18; Stephen Engel, Class of ’18; and Ethan Williams, Class of ’20, built the shed under the supervision of Randy Williamson, construction trades instructor at the high school. The shed was designed and created by students during the 2017-18 school year and was delivered over the summer through the generosity of Stallion Oilfield Services. The shed door installation was donated by Overhead Door.

The Brown Library is part of a national “Libraries Transform” effort to increase awareness of the changing role of libraries and the ways in which libraries are transforming to meet the information needs of their users.
