Rodsky is a Harvard-educated organizational management specialist by profession who one day realized she also was the person in charge of the children, household and all the other invisible work that women do. After seven years of research, she created a game and book called Fair Play, which is a card-based system designed to get both partners to define household and family expectations. The book uses the CPE style of management, which stands for “conception, planning and execution” of each task. Ultimately, whatever task the partner chooses is their task and they “own” all parts of it.
