Programs Primary K-2

  • Book Bingo – Children can play a round or two of traditional bingo for the chance to win a book to add to their home library. Stay for as long or as little as you like. Parents are encouraged to stay in the building.
  • Construction Club – Do you love to build things? Come join our working construction zone. Each week we will build with different materials, like Lincoln Llogs, connecting straws, blocks, Legos, and boxes and tubes.
  • Bubble, Fizz, Pop! — Science experiments will be explored for children in grades K-2. Bring your questions and curiosity.
  • I Spy Photography — Children in grades K-2 will be exploring the library for environmental print, and creating photos through a child’s eye that will be displayed in the library.
  • Adventures, Detectives and Spies, Oh My! – Do you like adventure?  Would you like to solve mysteries and puzzles? Come join us for scavenger hunts in search of clues and hear stories about exciting voyages and unsolved mysteries. This program is for children in grades K-2.
  • Other programs are offered seasonally.
