• The Storymobile visits childcare facilities across Lycoming County providing hundreds of children in these centers with carefully selected and age-appropriate books that enrich their early learning experiences.
• The Storymobile services primarily preschoolers with a set schedule but it also appears in one time events like parades or community festivals.
• With over 30 stops on its two-week cycle including day cares and preschools, the Storymobile reaches out to more preschool children than any other program in a given year.
• In 2010 the Storymobile had a facelift courtesy of Will Hillenbrand author of that years One Book, Every Young Child selection, What a Treasure.
• Thanks to Will the Storymobile's new "cover" features a big brown bear reading to his animal friends.
